What Agnes RF Treats

Agnes RF is a highly versatile device designed for precision skin and fat contouring. It can be used for:

  • Cystic acne – Destroys overactive oil glands to reduce breakouts and prevent recurrence

  • Under-eye bags – Tightens skin and melts small fat pads without surgery

  • Double chin – Reduces submental fullness and firms skin

  • Jowls – Improves jawline definition by reducing excess fat and tightening skin

  • Fine lines and wrinkles – Stimulates collagen for smoother texture

  • Enlarged pores – Minimizes pore size for a more refined appearance

  • Syringomas – Safely reduces or removes these benign sweat gland growths, often found around the eyes, with minimal downtime

How It Works

Agnes RF combines:

  • Microneedling – Delivers energy precisely into targeted areas of the skin or fat

  • Radiofrequency (RF) energy – Generates heat to stimulate collagen, tighten tissue, or destroy unwanted fat cells, oil glands, or sweat glands (as in the case of syringomas)

The hand-piece is equipped with specially designed needles, allowing Dr. Lee or Carmen to treat problem areas with pinpoint accuracy—preserving surrounding tissues while addressing the root cause of your concern.

Number of Treatment Sessions Needed

The number of sessions depends on your goals and the area being treated:

  • Cystic acne: Often 1–3 treatments

  • Eye bags, jowls, double chin: Typically 1–2 treatments spaced several months apart

  • Syringomas: Usually 1–2 treatments for noticeable improvement, depending on the number and size of growths

  • Skin texture & pores: May require a short series for optimal results

During your consultation, Dr. Lee or Carmen will create a customized plan to fit your needs.

Recovery

  • Most patients experience mild swelling, redness, or pinpoint scabbing for 1–3 days (sometimes up to a week for more intensive treatments).

  • For syringomas, small crusts may form and flake off naturally within about a week.

  • Makeup can usually be worn after 24 hours for lighter treatments.

  • Downtime is generally much less than surgery, with visible improvements building over the following weeks and months.

Level of Pain During Treatment

We make your comfort a priority:

  • Topical numbing cream is applied before treatment

  • For deeper or more intensive sessions, local anesthetic injections may be used

  • Most patients report mild to moderate discomfort that is very tolerable with these measures
